Sorry for the brevity. Just jotting this down while I have a chance, while I'm in front of a computer, while I'm relatively sober.
Imagine this, old reader.
An oblivious man or woman in North America sends out $15 per month to some third world country, as part of the Foster Parent's plan or whatever it's called, to feed, cloth, house and educate a young person and keep them from starving, freezing, being homeless and dumb.
Said child grows up healthy and wise, all thanks to this unknowing, altruistic person across the world... and this child grows up... to be the next Pol Pot or Hitler... They murder and massacre hundreds and thousands and millions and tens of millions.
And the history books will tell of the one gladhanding North American who allowed it all to happen.
Any thoughts?
By the way, Hollywood...

I really doubt the history books would mention the foreign sponsor.
Also, the whole point of helping out is to diminish the incentive for war by voluntarily redistributing scarce resources.
More likely, the child grows up to be a normal person, and at one point gets into some minor trouble. That's when the media connects him with the North American, who is running for president.
Sadly, that's not far from what happened last year.
Hmmmm... Well maybe we can retool this thing into a romantic comedy, where the child grows up and seeks out his sponsor after conquering half the globe and takes her back to his empire. Renee Zellwegger plays the North American and Verne Troyer plays the man-child in "Baby Dictator"?
No, the dictator is Angelina Jolie and the sponsor is Sean Bean. She tracks him down and makes a pass at him, and it's after he turns her down that she goes home and become a dictator out of spite. He stays with his wife (Helena Bonham Carter) and they live happily ever after.
The benefactor is Madonna and the child grows up to be Mr. Bean
Its late and I'm drrink
